A Cone Scan is a very impressive piece of imaging machinery in that it is capable of identifying many issues and structures that a normal x-ray is not. Initially you will either stand or sit in a chair with your chin on a small ledge. Once positioned, the machine gently rotates around your head, capturing a complete 360-degree view of your teeth, jaw, sinuses, and surrounding bone structures.
This comprehensive view provides valuable information for the dentist, allowing us to evaluate your oral and facial structures as a whole.
